You might have heard of Happy People. They've played a few places around Boise. My dad plays the lead guitar and sings. I decided they couldn't have a clip art/word art logo, so I made them this. I wanted to make something that could stand alone just as a shape (the h&p) and with the text. Next I want to get some shirts made.

Aggressive Paisley Snowboard
My sketch it at the top. I used the sketched lines in the final snowboard design. I played on the patterns of a paisley print. In this project, playing with color was something I tried to experiment with. I always thought that working for a company that centered on recreation would be great because the subject matter of the projects would always be interesting and fun to work with. Perhaps Burton or something...
Hats in Digital Photography
This semester has been so busy I haven't had a chance to update anything. So now that it's over I am going to try to make a point to update my blog everyday (or at least every week). This is a project I did this semester in Digital Photography. It was about how hats project meaning onto the wearer. It was a fun subject. Most of the hats are mine and some are my sisters. The photos were shot with a digital camera and edited in Photoshop.

They look better in print...
I did a series of posters on experimental music. John Cage, Leon Theremin, and Pierre Schaeffer. I really like the way these turned out...
I think I've got this blog thing now...
This was a play poster for Illustration. Like the painted hand by itself... It was around halloween so I was inspired to pick a vampire play. The play was short and a little strange. But love is torn apart, brought together, and self sacrifice from demons... The Vampire dies in the end by a sword through the heart...
Be gentle, I'm a first-timer...
Alright, this whole posting thing is new to me. I want to show people who might be interested in what I've done and and what I am doing with Graphic Design and such. I have a facebook and I've had a Myspace but I think this may be hard for me, but it's too early to tell. Well I suppose one has to start somewhere. I had a project to do a caricature and combine that celebrity with an animal. This is what I chose... Can you guess who?
